The UK podcast Sustainababble has been around for eight years, but it is shutting down this year. Happily, it had me on as a guest before it turned out the lights -- we discussed the recent US midterms, the right way to think about climate change, & how to keep one's shit together. Hosts Dave and Oliver were kind enough to allow me to send it out as an episode of Volts, so please enjoy.
Thanks for you great work and podcast. I found this a delightful interview. Your responses to the Brits queries I thought were important in terms of correcting misimpressions about the American "clean energy and political" scene. I am very encouraged and dare I say have a little more hope after Nov. 8. Cautiously optimistic even...I have a specific question for you. I am a nonprofit consultant. Are Nonprofits included in any of the clean energy opportunities? Are they in the small business category? How can I find out? I am listening to you, Ezra Klein, and Bill McKibben and signed up for a host of Energy publications but tracking the IRA is proving to be illusive so far. Thanks for any help you can give me and again, thank you for your great work!! Susan Feathers
Susan, I don't know the answer to this question, I'm afraid. I'm not familiar with anything specific in the bill for nonprofits but I could very easily be wrong.
