Hey David - I'm COO of an urban energy storage development company - Microgrid Networks. We have 2 operational power plants (one in Williamsburg Brooklyn, one in Maspath Queens). You might also consider attending the New York Geothermal Energy Organization (NY-GEO) conference in Brooklyn on Oct 21-23. NY-GEO is the largest state organization supporting the Geothermal Heat Pump industry. https://www.ny-geo.org/nyc-ny-geo-2024/

I'm rooting for Enhanced Geothermal to become borderline DER.
Think: Semi charging stations where adequate grid interconnection is futile.
