Thanks so much! I listen to the podcasts in the morning but I’m much better at retaining information when I can read it. I’m not in the electrical industry or in government, simply a concerned citizen, so I have a big learning curve. Thanks so much for making this information available to someone like myself.

Thanks Dave. While I like listening to the pods the transcripts are fantastic especially when I want to go back and check on something you or a guest said. Its really useful

The transcript for the geothermal episode looks great. How much manual editing was required after you got it back from Fanfare? I helped edit the transcript for an episode of My Climate Journey last year, and there were a bunch of acronyms, proper nouns, and other jargon that needed to be corrected. If that final round of corrections is taking up a lot of your time, or is painful to do with your elbow tendonitis, I wonder if it might be possible to crowd-source that step, ex. posting the Fanfare output to a Google Doc and letting listeners suggest edits.

Fanfare does the auto-transcription & then has a human look over & edit the resulting document -- so I've just been putting them straight up. I'm sure, what with them not being energy nerds, there are some errors here & there, but I know myself well enough to know that if I start looking I'll get obsessive about it, so I'm just assuming they're good.

Thanks so much for the great news on transcripts! I wish I could make the Canary Media event, but will unfortunately be out of town that day. I hope it goes great!
