I love it! There's so much to see, do, and be inspired by in Iceland. It's one of the few places that we arrived home wondering when we could go back (rather than where next). I think part of the systemic innovation is also tied to governance. For example, look at their reaction to the 2007 housing crisis. It's also the only country that actually has gender parity (wages, representation).
Where I go in Vermont was once a "Resource Park." Hydro power for mechanical and milling equipment, wood burning for process heat. Now the folks there are too sensitive to even look at wind and solar farms. Something similar in the NW with hydro and aluminum.
A few pictures & stories from Iceland
Thanks David!
I knew you would share amazing things!
Thanks also for suffering a bit to send us all the travelogue.
